As you may have noticed from my comments during many of the discussions here at GVOD, I am an atheist and I have made my views known quite adamantly on several occasions. Some of you thought that was cool, some of you were really turned off by it.If you were one of the people who found yourself agreeing with or at least intrigued by my outlook on life, you may interested in my new blog: Dark Sided, named after our favorite GVOD star, Margaret from Trading Spouses, the crazy "God Warrior." What I mostly do on this blog is highlight the hilariously sickeningmistakes and foibles of the world's major religions. This isn't a video blog only, but there is plenty of video on it, which makes it a little different than other blogs from like-minded people. Plus, a lot of atheists are pretty smart people, but their writing can be a bit dense, and, well, not very fun to read. My goal is to write conversationally, for normal people.
Why am I doing this? I cannot sit by and let America be ruined by deluded, ignorant fools from any religion. My best weapons against this are my words and my wit. So yeah, it's a little personal, a little acerbic. It's either that, or I go out and start my own cult (which isn't a bad idea, now that I think about it...) It's easy to say what you believe when everyone else believes the same thing. I want to add one more voice to the choir that sings of a way without religion, without gods, without delusions.
So, if you like Dark Sided, great! If not, oh well! Your life goes on and so does mine.
